Paradigm

December 16, 2015

Design firm, Paradigm Designs were engaged to provide a solution for the new surface treatment to Tea Tree Gully Tafe Light courts.

Areas of paving were removed which highlighted a significant amount of moisture build up to the sand base, concrete slab beneath the pavers as well as surrounding penetrations.

The method of rectification saw the application of a new screed on top of the existing concrete slab with the appropriate falls to a central grate. New concrete pavers on adjustable pedestals were then installed to achieve a level floor finish while allowing surface water to fall between the paver joints and drain below.

Paradigm Designs engaged the services of Hydron who provided the specifications of suitable waterproofing products for the various elements and junctions.
